Redlining means that lenders, up until that date, could exclude certain populations from getting home loans. These lenders would literally take a marker to a map and circle areas that they would avoid issuing loans to, for whatever reason. We were appalled when we realized that we were alive when redlining was still legal.
We named our company 77 Lending in support of every buyer in the marketplace who wants to own a Garman Home.
