To mark the moment, we’re sharing an appetizer recipe that feels right at home with your Argyle Socksdesign package—classic, cozy, and dressed with intention.

We all love a good crostini. It’s bite-sized brilliance. Simple, stylish, and always ready to mingle. But what if we gave it a little argyle-worthy upgrade?

Meet the Blue Cheese Walnut Honey Crostini—a crisp baguette topped with creamy blue cheese, candied walnuts, and a drizzle of honey. It’s savory, sweet, and just sophisticated enough to feel like it graduated top of its class (with honors in charm).

It’s proof that good taste never goes out of style!

Ingredients:

  • 1 baguette + olive oil to toast
  • 50 g walnuts
  • 60 g blue cheese
  • 100 g cranberries
  • 4 tbsp honey
  • 4–6 sprigs of thyme

Instructions:

  1. Cut the baguette in slices on an angle.
  2. Drizzle olive oil on top, as well as salt, and toast in an oven at 180°C (about 350°F) until golden. Let cool completely.
  3. Toast the walnuts in the oven at 180°C for 5–10 minutes or until golden (they’ll smell like popcorn). Let cool and then chop roughly.
  4. Use a fork to separate the blue cheese into small chunks.
  5. Put a bit of blue cheese on each toast, then some cranberries and walnuts.
  6. Drizzle with honey and finish with a few leaves of thyme.
