A Balanced Bite: Salami Cream Cheese Roll Ups

To mark the moment, we’re sharing a recipe that feels right at home with your Yin and Yangdesign package—bold, balanced, and totally snack-worthy.
We all love a bite that keeps things interesting. Salty and creamy. Smooth and crisp. A little retro, a little elevated. But what if we rolled all that into one perfect appetizer?
Meet the Salami Cream Cheese Roll Ups—a nostalgic nod with a modern wink. They’re savory, satisfying, and strikingly simple.
It’s proof that opposites don’t just attract—they belong on the same plate!
Ingredients:
- 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup chopped green onion
- 18 slices hard salami
Instructions:
- Stir cream cheese and chopped green onion in a small bowl until smooth.
- Overlap 6 salami slices into a seamless rectangle.
- Spread 1/3 of the cheese mix evenly over the salami, leaving a ¼” border.
- Roll tightly:
- Long-side first for smaller-diameter roll-ups
- Short-side first for larger–wider roll-ups
- Repeat with remaining salami and cheese to make 3 rolls.
- Wrap each in plastic wrap and chill for several hours or overnight.
- To serve, unwrap and slice:
- ~8 pieces per roll if you rolled from the short side
- ~10–12 pieces per roll if you rolled from the long side
- Enjoy as bite-sized snacks or on your favorite crackers
