Danica’s Bourbon Slushies - Single Batch Recipe
Ingredients
- 6 cups hot brewed black tea
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 (12 oz) can frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed
- 1 (6 oz) can frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed
- 2 cups bourbon (Danica uses 3–4 cups for extra holiday cheer)
Instructions
- Brew the black tea and let it cool.
- Stir in the sugar until fully dissolved.
- Add the lemonade and orange juice concentrate; whisk until smooth.
- Chill the mixture for about an hour.
- Add the bourbon, then freeze overnight.
To Serve
Scoop into a glass and top with your favorite bubbly (alcoholic or nonalcoholic). Champagne cuts the sweetness, but ginger ale works great too.
Garnish with with a couple of the following:

✨ Frozen cranberries
✨ Cherries
✨ A cinnamon stick
✨ A sprig of rosemary
