St. Patrick’s Day is right around the corner, and if you love a reason to get out, wear green, and celebrate with your community, you’re in luck. From parades and pub parties to family-friendly festivals and even dog-friendly gatherings, there’s no shortage of ways to celebrate across the Triangle and the Triad.

Raleigh St. Patrick’s Day Parade & Festival

The 43rd annual parade returns to downtown Raleigh on March 14 at 10 a.m., bringing bagpipes, Irish dancers, colorful floats, and plenty of community spirit to the Glenwood South and Hillsborough Street area. It’s a morning tradition for many local families and a perfect kickoff to a full day of celebration.

Hibernian Pub St. Patrick’s Day Block Party

If you’re looking for high energy and live entertainment, the Hibernian block party in Glenwood South runs March 14 from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. Expect live bands, Irish dancers, festive food, and an all-day celebration that fills the street.

Paddy on the Green at Lafayette Village
