Pack a blanket, gather your crew, and head to Dorothea Dix Park for one of Raleigh's biggest Fourth of July traditions. Enjoy food trucks, live entertainment, family activities, and plenty of room to spread out before the evening wraps up with a spectacular fireworks show around 9:30 PM. It's a classic Fourth of July celebration that's worth arriving early for.
🎇 Wendell | Independence Day Fireworks Celebration

The celebration starts early in Wendell! Wendell Park comes alive with live music, food trucks, family fun, and a fireworks display after sunset. Bring your lawn chairs, meet up with friends, and kick off the holiday weekend a couple of days ahead of schedule.

Thursday, July 3 | Gates Open at 5:30 PM
Friday, July 4 | Children's Parade at 10:30 AM & Art in the Park from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM
Wake Forest keeps the celebration going all weekend long. Thursday evening features live music, food trucks, kids' activities, and a fireworks show after dark. Then on Friday morning, the beloved Children's Parade rolls through downtown before Art in the Park keeps the fun going with crafts, games, and family activities.
